Resolved - Update: The hotfix addressing the image editing issue for Acquia Source customers has been successfully released and tested.
The issue, which was introduced in version 2.19.0 as part of a canvas update, is now fully resolved.
Customers can now return to normal operations and no longer need to use the previously suggested workaround. Our team will continue to monitor the platform closely.

Update - We have identified the underlying cause of the issue preventing Acquia Source customers from replacing images on existing pages This issue was introduced in version 2.19.0 as part of a canvas update and results in the following:

    1) Unable to Edit or Remove Images from Existing Components: Users may encounter the error: "Can only set values on the active version" (API Error).
    2) Image Properties Conflict in Components: In components with two image properties, uploading an image to one field may automatically remove the image in the other field.

Our team is still working on the hotfix release that should address the main issues identified as a part of this incident. The team will be monitoring closely after the release.

In the meantime, please continue to use the following workaround:

    1) Re-add the same image component to the page.
    2) Copy your content to the new component.
    3) Delete the old component and save the page.

We appreciate your patience and will provide further updates.

Investigating - We are currently investigating an issue where Acquia Source customers are unable to replace existing images on existing pages.
This was introduced in version 2.19.0 as part of a canvas update. There are two related issues:

    1) Unable to Edit or Remove Images from Existing Components: Users may encounter the error: "Can only set values on the active version" (API Error).
    2) Image Properties Conflict in Components: In components with two image properties, uploading an image to one field may automatically remove the image in the other field.

We are working to resolve this issue and have a temporary workaround in place as followed:

    - Re-add the same image component to the page.
    - Copy your content to the new component.
    - Delete the old component and save the page.

We will provide additional information as it becomes available.
